Ideas For Inventors If The Invention Does'nt Work.

So It Does'nt Work - Now What ?

So you have developed a machine that does'nt function as you expected. That may not be the end of it. What if it has another application you had'nt considered.
After coming to the realization that the wing powered blimp idea had its merits, i found that the comedian Gallagher had patented a solo pedal powered flying machine using a relatively small helium blimp. It could maintain flight as long as the person could pedal, which turned out to be around a few miles for the average person, and because blimps handle badly in the wind its practicality was limited. I also vaguely remember seeing something on TV once where someone was tethered to a balloon and kind of jump walking around. Except for these two, there hav'nt been any other solo helium craft or aparatus ive heard of.

It seems that there are ways to use helium that havnt been exploited. Like window washing or repairs to buildings where scaffolds where it can be tethered to the ground or building. I also think companies like Disney or Conklin shows could create a safe flyer or jumper for kids as they weigh so little it would not require a very large blimp or as much material such as aluminum framing, keeping it light.
