Toronto, On. June 11, 2010 -- Atom Age Media has released its first revised silent movie, titled Jekyll and Hyde Reborn. The first in a series of silent movies, recreated with voice-overs for every character, sound effects and original music, Jekyll and Hyde Reborn is our premiere release as an independent producer.
During a break from editing I was watching the original silent film when it occurred to me how much more watchable it would be if the characters were somehow given voices. It was quite challenging to produce effective voice-overs that wouldn't be humorous as actors in these films were required to over act to some degree. I aspired to honor the original actors with as suitable a voice as possible, to breathe new life into them and recreate the films in a dramatic way. J Casnig (Atom Age Media)
Atom Age Media gives new life to old film by giving full length classic silent movies a voice.
We are proud to announce the release of the worlds first full length talking silent movie. Featuring voices for the first time these new versions have also been re-scripted with new dialogue, original music and sound effects.
This once silent film stars the legendary John Barrymore as Dr Henry Jekyll and his alter ego Mr Hyde. Martha Mansfield, who died in a tragic accident the age of 24, and Brandon Hurst, who plays Sir George Carew, who starred in The Hunchback of Notre Dame with Lon Chaney.

The creepy silent horror masterpiece has been given new life complete with a revised script, altered scenes, and over 3 times the original dialogue ! Hundreds of glitches have been removed, voice dubs replace full screen subtitles, sound effects, original music and tinting have been added !
