An indie film producer has announced his completion of revised versions of 2 classic horror films, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde (1920) and Nosferatu.(1922).
Atom Age Media has given new life to old film by giving classic silent films voice.

Toronto, On. Feb 1, 2010 -- An indie film producer claims to be the first to have dubbed voices into a complete silent movie. The first films, soon to be released, are titled Jekyll and Hyde Reborn and Dracula Reborn. Both films have been recreated with voice-overs for every character, sound effects and original music.

"During a break from editing", said Indy producer James Casnig, "I was watching a silent film when it occurred to me how much more watchable it would be if the characters were somehow given voices. It was quite challenging to produce effective voice-overs that wouldn't be humorous as actors in these films were required to over act to some degree. I tried very hard to honor the original actors with as suitable a voice as possible, to breathe new life into them and recreate the films in a dramatic way." James Casnig (Atom Age Media)
